The hotel blocked 100 rooms for the participants attending the convention. The negotiated rate is $99 per room per night (please use SLD promotion code to get the special rate) and it is on first come first serve basis. When the 100 blocked rooms are fully booked the hotel will charge the normal rate, if they have any more rooms available.
